What information we collect
- Contact details you give us — your name, phone number and any details about your project when you call, WhatsApp, email us, or use the quote form on this site.
- Usage data — anonymised analytics about how visitors use this website (pages viewed, approximate location, device type), collected via Google Analytics.
A note on our quote form: the form on this website does not store anything on our servers. When you press "Send via WhatsApp", it simply opens WhatsApp on your device with a message pre-filled — nothing is saved or transmitted until you choose to send it yourself.
How we use your information
- To respond to your enquiry and provide quotes.
- To plan, schedule and carry out work you have engaged us for.
- To keep records we are legally required to keep (e.g. invoices, guarantee records).
- To understand how our website is used, so we can improve it.
Our lawful bases under UK GDPR are: taking steps at your request before entering a contract, performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, and legitimate interests (running and improving our business).
Cookies & analytics
This site uses Google Analytics 4 to measure visits. Google Analytics sets cookies (such as _ga) and collects anonymised usage data; IP addresses are anonymised. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can opt out of Google Analytics using Google's opt-out browser add-on, or by blocking cookies in your browser settings.
Who we share information with
- Google — analytics processing, as described above.
- WhatsApp (Meta) — if you contact us via WhatsApp, your messages are handled under WhatsApp's own privacy policy.
- Suppliers and subcontractors — only where necessary to deliver your project (e.g. arranging a delivery to your address), and only the minimum needed.
We never sell your personal information.
How long we keep it
Enquiry details that don't lead to work are deleted within 12 months. Records relating to completed work (quotes, invoices, guarantee details) are kept for as long as required for tax purposes and the duration of our workmanship guarantee.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal data, and to object to processing based on legitimate interests. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details above. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date above.
